In 1957 he settled in San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. In 1971 he began his studies at the School of Plastic Arts of the University of Guadalajara. In 1973 he received a scholarship from the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and a year later traveled to Spain to study for a year at the San Fernando Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid.

In 1975 he began his lithography courses at the Molino de Santo Domingo, in Mexico City. In 1991, she made the itinerant homage-installation Mártires del Paraíso, this work led her to produce her first plastic-musical show Live images: 12 paintings on stage, at the Teatro Doblado, León, Guanajuato. In 1995 he exhibited "Preludes of insomnia: the phases of Hecate", Museum of the Palace of Fine Arts, Mexico City; in 1997 he created "Sístole-Diástole" an alternative publishing house, in Mexico City; in 1999 he created the itinerant digital neográfica project entitled Síntesis de la constancia; in the 2000 retrospective exhibition "Relentless Light", galleries of the Ex Convento del Carmen, in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He published the book Relentless Light, and made a show called Luminarias de la sombra. From the initial exhibition Síntesis de la constancia, she projects the new didactic exhibition of itinerant graphic and neográfica, "The reasons of love and of the trade". In 2002 he traveled to reside in Denmark and Germany, to devote himself exclusively to painting and studying light in the landscape. Exhibits in Sistole-Diastole the series produced in Europe, entitled Passengers of Exile. That year he painted the Canaima billiards mural "El lugar sin Límites", in the town of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga.

In 2004 he made a trip to La Patagonia, granted by Astrid Hadad and Michel Desfrene, to study and paint the glaciers of the Southern Cone. La Siempre Habana is a publisher of limited edition prints for creating and promoting printmaking. Founded in 2000 by the Cuban artist Luis Miguel Valdés and the Mexican poet Cuitláhuac Rangel, in Mexico City.

Along these 18 years we have published about 300 editions and worked with 72 artists such as: José Luis Cuevas, Raúl Anguiano, Alejandro Santiago, Tomás Sánchez, Roberto Fabelo, Sergio Hernández, Luis Miguel Valdés, etc. Our limited editions of medium and large sizes, portfolios and artist books have been auctioned and acquired by several private and public collections such as museums, universities and companies such as: Arizona State University; University of California, Irvine; Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami; UNAM (Universidad Autónoma de México), UAM (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana); CEMEX (Cementos de México); PEMEX (Petróleos Mexicanos), Bolsa de Valores, Nortel de México, etc. Com) All editions are limited and every work is signed by the author.
