This is number 72 out of 500 limited edition copies printed. Bound in the publisher's silver foil dust wrapper, attached to boards, housed in a slipcase.

Largely surrounding women, these compelling stories were commended for their intriguing and realistic characters, while also alluding to the declining of the aristocracy in Europe. Bound in the publisher's silver foil dust wrapper, adhered to boards at flyleaves, housed in a slipcase. Externally, smart, with cockling and some discolouration to foil covers. Small tear to rear panel. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Slipcase is worn, lacking upper edge, with small gaps and lifting to lower edge. Rubbing, light chipping and wear to slipcase. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear.

Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.

Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition. Good Only - Meaning one or more faults that could really do with repair.
