1935 L. E. C Limited Edition Club the rubaiyat of omar khayyam, rare signed copy

This is a rare Limited Edition Club limited edition copy of the rubaiyat of omar khayyam, this is number 905 and is an official signed copy by Valenti Angelo. This is the Fifth in the seventh series of books issued to the members. Of this Club is an edition of The rubaiyat of omar khayyam, Every page of which is illuminated with pure gold or pure silver by Valenti Angelo. The text is carefully selected from the five various editions of Edward Fitzgerald's translation, thus making a "definitive" text. The size of the page is 4 x 6 inches, and there are 80 pages. The typesused are centaur roman and arrighi italic, printed on imported japanese Kozo paper, folded double in japanese fashion. Every page is printed with a floriated design in four colors, and every page is illuminated by the artist, by hand, with pure gold or pure silver.

The book is bound in full morocco, with an all-over pattern by illustrator. This book is in nice but not perfect condition. It has one tear in a page shown in pics and the binder is not perfect. All in all, this is a pretty nice collectable copy of this book.
