Oversized 30" x 40" Lithograph Canvassed Print, Hand-Signed Artist Proof, Individually Numbered AP #1/5 (Artist COA). This is a large lithographic canvassed print measuring 30 inches by 40 inches in size. The print is based on the original 1968 concert poster featuring Cream, created by artist Frank Bettencourt. The lithograph offered here is an exact replica of the authentic & authorized first print poster designed by artist Frank Bettencourt in 1968.
The print offered here has been individually numbered #1/5 ARTIST PROOF! Yes, this was the VERY FIRST lithograph in the limited series released by the artist.
Frank did 5 artist proofs and 25 for the series. This is the very first one to come off the printer! It's also the same one used to market the special release. Frank has assured me that there won't be any more of these released...So this will always be the Holy Grail from the limited series! In addition to being individually numbered, the beautiful print is also hand signed by artist Frank Bettencourt. This is a one-of-a-kind piece! The legendary super-group Cream featured Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. The band was at the height of their popularity in 1968.
