This is copy number 218 out of 500. Signed by the author to the limitation page. With illustrations throughout the text by the author. This work pays homage to St John's Wood Barracks, a former military base. Until 2012 it was the headquarters for the Royal Horse Artillery.
In the original publisher's cloth binding and dust wrapper. The dust wrapper has some wear and small tears to the extremities and some slight loss. There is a stain to the front board. To the binding, there is some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities.
The pages are very bright and clean. Overall Condition: Very Good Indeed Good. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition.
Good Only - Meaning one or more faults that could really do with repair. As with good only above but with other faults. Leaving a compromised copy even after repair. Really bad and possibly seriously incomplete.
