For your consideration is a First, Signed and Limited Edition of CHERRY RIPE by A. This in Number 129 of only 160 copies.. The first 150 copies were bound in cloth and numbers 151 to 160 in leather. The book was published by The Tintern Press, Brockweir, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, 1935. The book consists of 47 pages.

It is signed by A. Coppard on the second front free page and includes 22 wood engraving illustrations by Sylvia Marshall. It was hand printed by Vincent Stuart at Brockweir, Cheptow, Monmouthshire and Bound by H. The binding is cloth over boards with a leather spine label titled in gilt. There is a 3/4" x 1" book plate on the front paste down that has some slight offsetting to the facing page.

The illustrations have faint offsetting to the facing pages. There is a correction in ink on page 27: "gae" has been crossed out and "gang" (Scottish "to go") written in. The book is tall octavo and measures 6 5/8" x 10 3/8". The book is in Very Good Condition and is a beautiful marriage of poetry.
