Robert Frost (1874 - 1963) is regarded as one of the greatest American poets of the twentieth century. Frequently honored during his lifetime, Frost is the only poet to receive four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry.
He became one of America's rare "public literary figures, almost an artistic institution". He was much admired for his depictions of the rural life of New England, his command of American colloquial speech, and his realistic verse portraying ordinary people in everyday situations. This volume includes all his poetry up to 1949, including some of his most important poems The Road Not Taken, Mending Wall, and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
