DAVID HOCKNEY Signed 1969 Original Etching/Aquatint "The Pot Boiling". This is a superb original signed and numbered limited edition etching and aquatint by internationally acclaimed Pop artist DAVID HOCKNEY British, b.

This rare original etching/aquatint is entitled "The Pot Boiling" and is plate 8 from Six Fairy Tales from The Brothers Grimm , printed on Hodgkinson handmade paper and published by Petersburg Press, London. It is signed in pencil by the artist on the front lower right "David Hockney".

It is also numbered on the lower left "55/100", from the total limited edition of only 100 impressions. It measures 12 ¼" x 12 ½" (sheet), 7" x 8" (image) and is framed in a custom made wood frame for a total size of 18 ¾" x 18 ¾". It is in good condition aside from 2 pale yellow fingerprint size spots in the left margin, one in the right margin and a smaller one on the sheet lower edge.
