Joey Dunlop "King Of The Island" a superb Signed Limited Edition Road Racing and TT Legend Pencil Portrait Giclée Fine Art Print. Joey Dunlop rewrote the history books with a start to finish victory in the 125cc TT, taking his total of TT wins to 15, one more than Mike Hailwood. Younger brother Robert was second throughout and veteran Bob Heath held third place all the way. Joey's race win was at the record speed of 107.26mph. I published this print back in 1993 to celebrate Joeys then record breaking wins on the famous TT races.
Then I commissioned artist Carson Hanna to create the original artwork and then contacted Joeys then manager David Wood to arrange Joey to sign each of the 500 limited edition prints individually in pencil. Subsequently a contract was drawn up and signed by myself, Joey Dunlop, David Wood and Carson Hanna. I then delivered and collected the prints personally after Joey had signed them. Of course Joey went on to amass a total of 26 wins, which is a record even to this day!The print is signed in pencil personally by Joey and the artist Carson Hanna, and is part of a limited edition and 128 of 500. The print also comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
A perfect piece to add to any fan's collection. Overall print dimensions 430mm wide x 495mm long.
