Signed First Edition, limited to 250 copies, of which this is no. White cloth spine with red cloth boards and gilt stamping, wrapped in publisher's gold foil pictorial jacket and housed in decorative-paper slipcase with red label to front. Top stain red; fore-edge deckled; illustrated gold-foil endpapers. Jacket generally creased with bumping and rubbing to margins and minor tears and chips, with some loss to spine joints at head. Lightly soiled and scuffed with fading to spine. Verso toned with offsetting to back flap from rear endsheet.

Board corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed with shelfwear. Spine soiled and lightly spotted. Gold foil endsheets lightly scratched. Slipcase taped by previous owner at all head and tail joints and at inside spine with significant wear to front margins. Soiled and scuffed with spine creased.
