The book and slipcase are in fine condition with minor scuffing to base of slipcase and sunning to the leather spine as can be seen in the photos. Publisher's original gilt lettered spine over cloth covered boards. The introduction by Robert Coles says "The story opens with a fait accompli. Gregor Samsa found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect".
