1914-March 1957, flew B25 B Doolittle Raid, commander B-26 bomb group in Africa, got shut down on either side of the world, and survived a year and a German Prison camp, just to name a few of his exploits. While in camp he illustrated planes, air battle, prisoners in camp, still life studies.
