"Ruth" limited edition signed and numbered print. Judaic fine artist, graphic designer, Jewish educator, and visual communicator Avy Ashery's influence on Judaic design has been considerable. Avy, a true Judaic graphic design pioneer, presented his historical graphic, The Jewish Bicentennial Design, to the White House in 1976. His illustration The Prayer, used to contact the Soviet Jewish refusenicks, was banned from the Former USSR by the KGB. His logo designs have been the face of many renowned Jewish and secular Institutions. The artworks in this exhibition recall themes central to Jewish family life.
