About the Artist: Sandi Gore-Evans was born in 1945 in Olney, Texas and died on September 20, 2012 in Agusta, GA. Her family moved to Augusta in 1947 where Sandi attended school. After 1966, they made their home in Augusta.

Sandi, a self-taught and self-employed artist, opened her own gift store in 1984 to showcase her art. Her watercolors ranged from whimsical to serious, and covered subjects such as juvenile motifs and florals.

She brought watercolor to life with the stroke of a brush. A truly talented artist she delighted fans with her whimsical snowmen, water colored floral pictures, and inspirational messages.
