179 out of 200 numbered copies -- signed by Stephen King and the artists (Rick Berry and Dave Christensen). This copy was one of the first 75 ordered which included a ceramic emperor penguin made by world-famous Hagen-Renaker -- the same brand of penguin that appeared in the movie adaptation of Misery. This signed numbered edition of Misery was printed letterpress using a Heidelberg Cylinder press and quarter bound in genuine leather with Japanese cloth sides. Several types were used, including Poliphilus, Blado, Mateur, Helvitica, and Trixie and printed on Crane's Lettra Cotton paper from photopolymer plates.

The book is housed in a clamshell box covered with Italian and Japanese cloth. The frontispiece is printed letterpress from Barry Moser's relief engraving.
