Susan Rios Fiona's Signed, Numbered, Limited Edition Serigraph

"Fiona's" is Susan Rios at her iconic best. The serigraph "Fiona's" depicts the front of Fiona's store.

Outside the store is covered in vines and flowers like geranium, hollyhock, iris, and daisies. Susan Rios resides in Southern California, and has been creating her distinctive art for decades. Susan blends realism and impressionism to her own personal techniques.

The beautiful, delicate creations of Susan Rios are collected worldwide. Throughout the 1980's I owned a franchise of the upscale magazine The Robb Report. I often traded advertising space in the magazine for an eclectic variety of unique items, mostly were Signed, Limited Edition fine art lithographs. Through Martin Lawrence Limited Editions I acquired the creations of many artists, including: Doug Webb, Yankel Ginzburg, Hiro Yamagata, and Susan Rios. I believe this Susan Rios "Fiona's" was acquired by me in 1984. "Fiona's" is beautifully framed, and has been carefully displayed in my home since that time. Framed, the serigraph measures 33"w x 38"h.

"Fiona's" is a hand-pulled serigraph on paper, hand signed in pencil with a limited edition of 295. This serigraph is hand signed and numbered HC 48/50.

In French HC stands for "hors commerce", or "not to sell". Similar to an Artist Proof the HC's were set aside from the edition prints. Artist Proofs are generally valued higher than other prints in the edition, due to the rarity and small quantity of them. Oftentimes the Artist Proof are altered from the final edition, creating a uniqueness to them that is very desirable.
